“Cobalt and Cranberry are the collectible glasswares,” said antiques appraiser Tom Bassett at a recent Homestead SMARTalk, “Treasure or Trash.” Tom appraised treasures for 35 people that ranged in value from $10 to $1900. He added “our treasures are not as valuable as they once were because younger generations are not interested in the old stuff.” The wood duck decoy shown was valued at $400.
