• Dr. Arif Sattar, Medical Director, has privileges to all local hospitals.  He and his Physician’s Assistant make regular facility rounds.
• Homestead Rehabilitation Center employs a nurse practitioner full time.  The nurse practitioner is able to write orders for residents with collaborating Physicians; this helps reduce the amount of trips to visit the doctor.
• Escorts are provided to and from all Physician Appointments.
• We have a Dietitian on staff monitoring resident nutritional status, weight and special diets.   Our full time Chef serves as our Dietary Services Manager.  Fresh produce is delivered on a daily basis and coffee is ground and brewed before each meal.
• Homestead Rehabilitation Center accepts admissions seven days a week and therapy assessments are completed on the day of admission. 
• Homestead Rehabilitation Center has added an additional 1200 square feet of therapy space and has installed new equipment in order to continue our reputation of excellent rehabilitation services.
