Rehabilitation Center

When this facility opened in 1963, it sat alone on the grounds of a dairy farm, with only the house that was the “homestead”, and a few newer homes to the north. Fifty-Sixth Street was a gravel road and none of the developments that now exist were created. If you look at this vicinity now, a lot of growth has happened.

The facility is located in a beautiful and serene residential area. It is not unusual to observe neighbors working in yards, walking dogs and children at play. There are no busy streets or highway rush and it is a pleasure to sit outdoors in one of the courtyards or other sites on the grounds.
